Software License Agreement

Summary: WhatsHub is proprietary software provided as a service (SaaS). You get a license to use it — you do not own it. Your data remains yours.

1. License Grant

JI Wentzel Trading ("Company", "we", "us") grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the WhatsHub platform ("Software") through our hosted service at whatshubb.co.za, subject to these terms.

All rights, title, and interest in the Software — including source code, design, features, documentation, and branding — are and remain the exclusive property of JI Wentzel Trading. This license does not grant you any ownership rights.

The WhatsHub name, logo, and visual identity are trademarks of JI Wentzel Trading. You may not use them without prior written consent.

3. Your Data

You retain full ownership of any data you create, upload, or generate through the platform. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

We store your data solely to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. WhatsHub depends on third-party services (including WhatsApp) that are outside our control.

We reserve the right to perform maintenance, updates, or modifications to the Software at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for planned downtime where possible.

WhatsHub is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp Inc. or Meta Platforms, Inc. WhatsApp is a registered trademark of WhatsApp LLC.

Use of WhatsHub with your WhatsApp account is at your own risk. We do not guarantee compatibility with future WhatsApp updates or policies.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

This agreement complies with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, and the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

10. Changes to This License

We may update this license agreement from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance.
