WhatsHub ("we", "us", "our") operates the platform at whatshubb.co.za. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.

When you use WhatsHub, we may collect:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and phone number provided during registration.
• WhatsApp session data: When you connect your WhatsApp account via QR code, we establish a session using the WhatsApp Web protocol (Baileys). This allows us to provide our tools on your behalf.
• Messages and contacts: Depending on the tools you use (e.g. scheduled messages, auto-responder, broadcast, chat export, group analytics), your messages and contacts may be processed server-side.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, device type, and browser information.
• Payment information: Processed securely by PayFast. We do not store your card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate WhatsHub's tools — including link generation, vCard creation, scheduled messages, auto-responder, group analytics, chat export, broadcast, social wall, AI assistant, status viewer, and WhatsMap.
• To process your Pro subscription (R49/month) via PayFast.
• To communicate with you about your account and service updates.
• To improve our platform and develop new features.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. All personal information, messages, and contacts are encrypted at rest. We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, alteration, or destruction.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data only with:

• PayFast: To process subscription payments.
• Law enforcement: When required by South African law.

5. Your Rights Under POPIA

As a data subject under POPIA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your personal information.
• Object to the processing of your information.
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.

6. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. When you delete your account, all associated data — including your WhatsApp session, messages, contacts, and usage history — is permanently removed from our servers.

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. No third-party tracking cookies are used.

WhatsHub is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with WhatsApp or Meta Platforms, Inc. "WhatsApp" is a registered trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.

9. Minimum Age

You must be at least 18 years old to use WhatsHub. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
